Many children attend badminton coaching, but coaching alone isn’t enough to improve—you also need regular match play to develop your game.

Introducing Hang Out & Play
Gala’s Social badminton sessions for children to enjoy friendly matches, build skills, and connect with fellow badminton enthusiasts—outside formal coaching.
Why Join?
If you’re serious about improving your badminton, these sessions help you:
Apply what you have learnt skills in real game situations.
Build confidence and match awareness through play.
Identify areas to improve with your coach.
Prepare for tournaments with partner practice or find a new partner.
What to Expect
Relaxed, informal play guided—but not led—by coaches.
Warm-up games followed by rotating casual matches.
No drills or lectures—your game, your plan.

Fun mini-tournaments and challenges.
Confidence-building, pressure-free environment.
Player Requirements
Not for beginners—must be able to score singles/doubles and sustain rallies.
Limited spaces for quality play.
County players welcome.

To keep things fresh and fun, we’ll introduce themed events throughout the season, examples are:
Glow-in-the-Dark Badminton
Play under black lights with glowing shuttlecocks for a unique and exciting twist.
Doubles Dress-Up Day
Partners dress in matching or creative costumes—prizes for the best-dressed pair!
Team Tournament Day
Players are grouped into teams for mini leagues and relay-style competitions.
Fastest Smash Contest
Test your power in a fun challenge to see who can deliver the fastest smash.
Mystery Match Mix-Up
Randomised pairings and surprise rules each round—expect the unexpected!
